Washburn Trail on Bull Hill Parking Lot

This is the trailhead parking lot on Route 9D for the Washburn Trail up Bull Hill (Mount Taurus) in Hudson Highlands State Park Preserve. The lot is small and shared among hikers and fills early on weekends, so arrive at the start of the day, and pack out what you carry in. With Breakneck Ridge closed for construction, Bull Hill from here is a popular hard hike straight from the Cold Spring area.
